Job summary

Rokstone Group Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Underwriting Excellence & Governance Analyst to shape how governance works in practice. You’ll turn data into insight, strengthen controls and embed smarter workflows within a fast-moving specialty underwriting environment.

Sitting close to underwriting teams and control functions, you’ll own oversight of authorities and governance controls, identify recurring issues and drive improvement from idea through implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience relevant to underwriting governance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and drive for improvement.
• Ability to own projects from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve underwriting governance MI and dashboards, turning data into clear insight that helps senior leaders understand trends, exceptions and emerging risks.
• Own oversight of underwriting authorities and key governance controls, identifying recurring issues, challenging where needed and helping strengthen underwriting discipline.
• Shape how governance is embedded within ATOMX, using automation and smarter workflows to make controls consistent, scalable and effective.
• Turn analysis into improvement, finding root causes, control weaknesses and opportunities to simplify processes without losing appropriate oversight.
• Partner with underwriting teams on governance and underwriting excellence, bringing strong Specialty Insurance, Lloyd’s or MGA experience and taking improvement initiatives from idea through to implementation.
