What You’ll Take On (The Actual Job Description)

This is a high-impact role at the heart of how Rokstone manages conduct risk, Consumer Duty and product governance across the UK & Ireland. You’ll bring independent judgement and practical regulatory expertise, turning complex expectations into clear standards that work in the real world. Working across underwriting, claims, operations and distribution, you’ll strengthen oversight, challenge where it matters and use insight to help the business deliver good customer outcomes alongside sustainable commercial growth.

What You’ll Take On

• Own and evolve the conduct risk and Consumer Duty framework, creating practical standards and meaningful measures that strengthen customer outcomes and decision-making.
• Shape product governance and fair value, bringing robust challenge to product approvals, reviews, target markets and distribution strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Turn customer outcome data into insight, identifying emerging conduct risks, control weaknesses and potential harm early and driving action where it matters.
• Build proportionate monitoring and assurance, testing whether controls work in practice and creating clear evidence for senior management, regulatory and audit scrutiny.
• Partner across underwriting, claims, operations, delegated authority, distribution, risk and compliance, combining credible second-line challenge with clear reporting, practical guidance and stronger governance.
