W&P Partners Legal Recruitment is partnering with a leading international SaaS business to appoint a Commercial Counsel for the UK to join its global legal team.

You will own a broad range of commercial matters, negotiating complex SaaS and partner agreements, and supporting strategic deals while advising on contractual and compliance risk. A solicitor qualified in England & Wales with 5+ years of in‑house experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant commercial legal experience.
• In-house experience within a technology or SaaS environment is preferred.
• Strong experience negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary lawyer for UK and US commercial matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate SaaS, customer, vendor and partnership agreements.
• Lead legal support on strategic commercial deals and provide practical risk advice.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
• Support resolution of commercial disputes through negotiation or mediation.
• Identify and manage legal risk to support growth.
