Job summary

W&P Partners Legal Recruitment is working with a leading international SaaS business to appoint a commercially focused UK Commercial Counsel to join its global Legal team. This is a high‑impact opportunity for an experienced in‑house lawyer to take ownership of commercial matters, lead strategic negotiations and work closely with senior stakeholders across a fast‑paced technology business.

Qualifications

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years of commercial experience.
In-house SaaS/tech experience with complex contract negotiations.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Act as primary lawyer for UK and US commercial matters.
Draft, review and negotiate complex SaaS, customer, vendor and partnership agreements.
Lead legal support on strategic commercial deals and advise on risk.
Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across jurisdictions and time zones.
Support resolution of commercial disputes through negotiation or mediation.
