W&P Partners Legal Recruitment is supporting a leading international SaaS company to appoint a UK Commercial Counsel to join its global Legal team. The role focuses on commercial matters, strategic negotiations and cross-jurisdictional collaboration.

The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with at least five years' in-house experience, strong negotiation skills and a track record in technology agreements.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with current practising certificate.
• Minimum five years of relevant commercial legal experience, preferably in tech or SaaS.
• Experience negotiating complex SaaS, customer and partner agreements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple priorities in a fast-growth environment.

Aufgaben

• Act as primary UK and US commercial lawyer for matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex SaaS, customer, vendor and partner agreements.
• Lead strategic commercial negotiations and deal reviews.
• Provide practical advice on contractual and compliance risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across jurisdictions and time zones.
• Support resolution of commercial disputes through negotiation or mediation.
• Help identify and manage legal risk while enabling growth.
