SR2 is seeking an experienced Modelling & Simulation Engineer to join its Air Vehicle Design team. The role focuses on developing, simulating and analysing aircraft performance and flight dynamics models for aerospace/UAS projects.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on modelling capability, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to flight dynamics, control algorithms and test environments. A degree in a technical field and strong writing skills are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Physics or related technical discipline.
• Proven professional experience in modelling and simulation engineering.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink or comparable modelling tool.
• Demonstrable knowledge of UAV flight dynamics and flight control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent technical writing, communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, simulate and analyse aircraft performance and flight dynamics models.
• Support air vehicle design through flight dynamics modelling and control algorithm development.
• Implement flight simulation and visualisation test environments.
• Validate models using experimental, bench and flight test data.
• Collaborate with software developers, design engineers and test teams to define modelling requirements and fidelity.
