Job summary

SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ seeks a Principal Modelling & Simulation Engineer to lead modelling activities across defence programmes. You will combine advanced MATLAB/Simulink modelling with hands-on leadership and own key technical deliverables.

You’ll guide engineers, define verification strategies, and communicate with customers and stakeholders while owning critical outcomes in dynamic, multi-domain systems such as aerospace, defence, and automotive

Qualifications

• Strong MATLAB/Simulink modelling and simulation experience.
• Proven experience developing models of complex dynamic systems.
• Experience leading technical work packages and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead modelling activities across complex dynamic systems on defence programmes.
• Define technical approaches and verification strategies and own key deliverables.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to other engineers.
