Job summary

WSP is seeking a Tunnelling Engineer/Senior Tunnelling Engineer to join the Geotechnics and Tunnelling team in the UK & Ireland. The role covers tunnel and underground projects from feasibility through construction, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to business development.

Ideal candidates will have geotechnical and civil engineering expertise, Chartered status, and experience delivering multi-disciplinary tunnelling projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering Geology, Civil or Structural Engineering.
Chartered or near chartered with a relevant professional institution.
Experience in tunnelling/underground projects with multi-disciplinary design input.

Responsibilities

Produce and check tunnel/shaft design deliverables including reports and drawings.
Work with tunnelling and geotechnical engineers on diverse projects.
Manage project tasks and allocate resources effectively.
Mentor staff and support client liaison and proposals.
Contribute to business development and technical proposals.
