Job summary

Arcadis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Engineer to join the Geotechnical and Tunnelling team. You will provide technical leadership on challenging tunnel projects across Europe, and contribute to asset management and new build developments.

As a Chartered Engineer with a Civil or Structural background, you will mentor engineers, manage projects, engage clients, and help deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure with high quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant expertise in geotechnical and tunnelling engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent with a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects with focus on quality, safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of geotechnical and tunnelling aspects in design and construction.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead project delivery with clear goals, progress monitoring and high standards of safety and sustainability.
• Engage and manage client relationships to meet and exceed expectations.
