Job summary

Arcadis is expanding its Structural Engineering team in the Places Design Practice in the UK. We seek a Principal Structural Engineer with a strong technical background to lead structural aspects of projects, across sectors including industrial, educational, government and defence.

You will manage teams of structural engineers and BIM modellers, coordinate designs, interface with clients, mentor colleagues, and contribute to our quality processes while delivering sustainable, safe designs.

Qualifications

• Chartered member of IStructE or ICE preferred.
• SC clearance eligibility required or feasible.
• Deep knowledge of structural principles across varied projects.
• Familiarity with structural materials and on-site usage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and coordination of structures across multiple projects.
• Mentor engineers and BIM modellers; manage technical and commercial aspects.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders; contribute to quality processes.
