Senior Travel Sales Consultant

Base Salary: up to 30,000 based on experience, OTE 60,000

Location: Hybrid London or fully remote within the UK

Our client is an award-winning, fully bonded luxury travel company specializing in worldwide holiday destinations. They are seeking an experienced Tailormade Travel Sales Consultant with extensive sales and product knowledge of luxury holidays in the Indian Ocean, Middle East, and Far East.

The ideal candidates will have previous excellent, bespoke, tailor-made travel experience, capable of managing bookings from enquiry to final documentation. Presentation, communication (verbal and written), attention to detail, sales skills, and destination knowledge are crucial for their clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handling customer enquiries via phone and email.
  2. Utilizing your experience and destination knowledge to understand client requirements and create bespoke travel plans.
  3. Using GDS systems to book flights and make necessary amendments.
  4. Booking all aspects of travel, including flights, private charters, hotels, and tours.
  5. Working towards and exceeding KPIs and sales targets.
Required Experience:
  • Previous tailormade sales experience within the travel industry, gained with a luxury tour operator, focusing on the Indian Ocean, Middle East, and Far East.
  • Strong rapport-building skills and professional telephone manner.
  • Proven sales and customer service skills.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Base salary circa 30,000 depending on experience + commission, OTE 60,000+
