Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Transport Operations Manager to lead our Haydock site for a major BT customer.

You will oversee distribution and trunking operations, drive efficiency, and maintain full P&L responsibility while ensuring top service levels. You'll build strong relationships with customers, BT Fleet, and third-party suppliers, and lead a high-performing team focused on health and safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Leads in transportation or logistics with strong people leadership.
• International CPC holder required.
• Strong customer-facing experience in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI; familiarity with Microlise and Tachomaster.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage distribution and trunking operations to meet SLAs.
• Drive efficiency and continuous improvement with full P&L responsibility.
• Build relationships with customers, BT Fleet, and third-party suppliers.
• Analyze performance data and present clear updates to senior stakeholders.
• Develop high-performing teams while upholding Health & Safety and compliance.
