GXO Logistics, Inc. in Haydock is seeking a hands-on Transport First Line Manager to lead a distribution operation on a full-time basis. You will manage GXO and agency staff, ensure health and safety standards, and drive compliance across DVSA processes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in transport or logistics environments.
• Strong understanding of health and safety principles.
• Knowledge of vehicle compliance and safe loading/unloading.
• Solid grasp of transport ops, safety rules and legal compliance.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and manage GXO/agency staff across shifts/sites.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and align with Road to Zero.
• Oversee DVSA compliance measures and investigations as needed.
