Job summary

WSP is seeking experienced Transport Planners to join our Development Planning team in the UK. You will work on a range of projects from commercial, retail, and residential, developing transport strategies, inputs into masterplans, and supporting Expert Witness evidence.

You will mentor Early Career Professionals, deliver day-to-day transport planning input, and help lead complex multi-disciplinary development proposals in collaboration with Highways, Services, Structures and Environmental teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical work on Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and parking strategies.
• Ability to prepare traffic flow information for Transport Assessments/Environmental Statements.
• Experience with junction capacity modelling tools (Junctions 10, Linsig) and scenario testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical transport planning inputs for development projects.
• Mentor Early Career Professionals in delivery of projects.
• Support/lead transport planning input for small to medium projects; assist with business development.
