Job summary

Hull City Council is seeking a Senior Transformation Officer to lead programmes and projects, delivering change across people, processes and technology. You will manage initiatives, align them with overall corporate plans and ensure benefits realisation while engaging key stakeholders.

The role is fixed-term until December 2027 with a hybrid working model across office locations and remote options, offering opportunities for future permanence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading change programmes and projects across services.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and communicate outcomes clearly.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to upskill staff.
• Familiarity with project governance and benefits realisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide programme and project management to deliver identified change and improvements.
• Lead on stakeholder communication and engagement regarding programme outcomes.
• Identify synergies, risks and benefits; monitor progress and report to governance bodies.
• Embed change in the organisation and ensure outputs meet required quality.
