Job summary

Hull City Council in Hull is seeking a Senior Change Officer on a fixed-term full-time contract to design and lead change programmes within Neighbourhoods & Housing. The role involves delivering improvements, managing benefits, risks and stakeholder relationships, and embedding new ways of working across services.

You will work with senior managers to align strategies, oversee governance, and ensure transition plans are realised.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering change programmes in public sector contexts.
• Strong project and programme management skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with senior managers and governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support change programmes to deliver identified changes, improvements and benefits.
• Identify, define and track progress, benefits, and outcomes with risks and issues.
• Ensure change is embedded and delivering improvements and benefits.
• Matrix manage a team when required and guide senior managers to shape and deliver change.
• Coordinate activity on programmes, report progress and manage budgets as assigned.
• Foster a culture of organisational learning and development and transfer knowledge to colleagues.
