About the role
The Senior Transformation Analyst is an essential leadership position within the Group Transformation Team at Royal Mail. You will oversee a comprehensive portfolio level risk management process, identifying and assessing risks and issues at the Transformation portfolio level, working with business leads to develop and track mitigation plans and providing structured reporting to Group Risk team. You will also:
• Actively engage with senior leadership, project sponsors and other key stakeholders to gather feedback on portfolio insights and emerging risks
• Identify and track key dependencies and dependency timelines at Transformation portfolio level
• Analyse the Transformation portfolio data to identify trends and improvement areas, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Produce and present regular reports to IDS Board, Executive Board, PRMs and other senior leadership forums, offering vital insights into Transformation portfolio progress performance, risks and opportunities
• Support with ongoing and ad-hoc project work and be point of contact within Group Transformation team for Internal Audit
• Role model our leadership behaviours, building trust with our people across the organisation, and as part of the wider leadership community
About you
To be a success in this role you should have at least 2 – 3 years of experience in project / portfolio management. You also have:
• Proven experience in planning and cross-functional analysis
• Excellent Excel & PPT skills – ability to create visuals and storyboards to be presented at Board level
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• The ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations and effectively communicate
• Collaborative working style, able to manage and influence senior stakeholders

The next stage of the selection process will be a face to face interview in Farringdon consisting of competency based, role specific questions and a Presentation task. We plan to hold interviews on w/c 2nd June.
