Job summary

Arup in London is seeking a Senior Town Planner to lead planning processes for major infrastructure projects from feasibility to delivery. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, advise clients on complex planning matters and manage DCOs and planning applications.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or masters in town planning or similar equivalent degree.
• Chartered membership of RTPI or equivalent professional body.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to secure consent for infrastructure projects, including through DCOs and planning applications.
• Advise clients on complex planning matters and lead day-to-day delivery of a project.
• Manage Development Consent Orders (DCO) and planning applications.
• Design and deliver consultation, engagement and stakeholder workshops.
• Collaborate with planners, designers, economists and transport specialists to deliver sustainable places across the UK.
