Job summary

Arup seeks an experienced Senior Town Planner to lead delivery of planning applications and DCOs for water and energy projects within a Yorkshire-focused planning team. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, advise clients on complex planning issues, and drive day-to-day project delivery in line with client objectives and programme.

The role requires strong knowledge of planning and environmental legislation, a track record on TCPA consents and/or DCOs, and the ability to engage with

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of planning and environmental legislation, policy and procedures.
• Strong track record on complex TCPA consents and/or Development Consent Orders (DCOs).
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage client/stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to secure consent for infrastructure projects (DCOs and planning applications).
• Support proposals, business development and growth of the infrastructure offer.
• Design and deliver consultation, engagement and stakeholder workshops; mentor colleagues and contribute to an inclusive team.
