Job summary

Maple House in Preston is opening a brand-new solo residential service for one young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. We are recruiting two Senior Residential Care Practitioners to deliver high-quality therapeutic care in a 2:1 staffing model.

You will work with a supportive leadership team, access CPD and Level 4 training, and benefit from a clear development pathway as the home grows.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in residential childcare.
• Experience working with young people with complex needs.
• Calm, resilient approach with strong safeguarding values.
• Confidence working in solo/high-support environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapeutic care in a 2:1 staffing model.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure safety and well-being of the young person.

Skills

Experience in residential childcare

Education

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

Level 4 Diploma – CYPF (Residential Pathway)

Currently enrolled on either qualification
