Job summary

Kingdom Services Group is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Practitioner / Therapeutic Childcare Practitioner for a specialist residential service in Merstham, Surrey. You will lead shifts, supervise staff, and deliver trauma-informed care to highly vulnerable children and young people with complex needs.

The role requires experience in residential childcare, leadership capabilities and a commitment to safeguarding, with a view to embedding a therapeutic care model across the home.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare settings.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and provide guidance to Residential Childcare Practitioners.
• Contribute to care planning, safeguarding and staff development.
• Deliver trauma-informed care and embed a therapeutic approach across the home.
• Support medication administration and safe use of equipment.
• Maintain records and reports in line with regulations.
