Job summary

Keys Group is opening a specialist children’s home in Buxton and seeks experienced Senior Therapeutic Support Workers for this exciting venture. The home will provide a tailored curriculum, adventure activities, and strong clinical support to deliver high-quality therapeutic care.

You will join a dedicated team, promoting safety, healthy development and recovery for each child. A 12-month home care background and Level 3 qualification are required, with opportunities for progression and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in child-centred, therapeutic models.
• Excellent communication skills, caring, flexible and resilient.
• A minimum of 12 months Children’s home experience and a Level 3 qualification in residential childcare.
• Full UK Driving licence is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to support the young people in care, promoting positive development.
• Support the Service Manager to ensure professional day-to-day care delivery.
• Lead a team with other professionals to provide therapeutic care for each child.
• Record events and observations, prepare progress reports and care plans.
• Be a positive role model, building trust to aid recovery and lasting change.
