Job summary

MBDA is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to support test and diagnostics of electrical/electronic sub-systems during early product lifecycle phases. You will back the manufacturing test capability to meet time, cost and quality targets.

You will work with design, operations and test facilities to define test specifications, procedures and growth of testability across missile system development and production.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC level qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject with experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacture and test.
• Experience with test equipment and fault diagnosis for electronic/electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Experience using manual and automated test equipment, preferably in a defence/manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with ERP/MES systems for recording test activities and non-conformance reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide Test Engineering support during Design/Development phases from concept to Production Readiness Review.
• Support Test Facility introduction and ensure configuration control of equipment and facilities.
