Job summary

MBDA Bolton is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Electronics Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will service Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment (STTE) and support all stages of product assembly, integration and test on complex missile systems.

You will work with a skilled team to calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot test equipment, mentor junior staff, and contribute to continual improvements in testing platforms.

Qualifications

• Calibration of test equipment and maintenance to component level.
• Ability to interpret instructions, drawings and specifications.
• Ability to measure and repair down to component level.
• Understanding of calibration principles and processes.
• Mentor junior staff when requested by line manager.
• Deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support across all stages of product assembly.
• Service Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, including STTE.
• Support the manufacturing function across assembly, integration and test.
• Collaborate with MBDA teams to resolve routine tasks.
• Calibrate and support factory test equipment using a range of technologies, DC to Microwave.
• Contribute to annual reviews to plan future development and knowledge growth.
• Participate in teamwork and knowledge sharing within the team.
