Job summary

Kier Group is recruiting a Principal Temporary Works Engineer to join our civil, structural and geotechnical engineering teams across the UK. You will contribute to a wide range of temporary works design and management activities and support complex construction and infrastructure schemes.

The role offers hybrid working with locations including Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Plymouth and access to Kier's substantial

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in temporary works design and/or management.
• Ability to lead projects, manage scope, programme and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Lead for multiple complex projects, overseeing technical scope, programme, budget and team relationships.
• Produce and review design outputs (calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models, reports) with CDM/SHE/QA compliance.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and systems within the team.
