Vertiv in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer to provide technical support across diverse Lines of Business. You will assist sales with proposals, quotes and tenders, while engaging local accounts on critical data centre projects in the UK and Europe.

Based in Southampton, you will develop innovative, cost-competitive solutions, coordinate with engineering teams, and deliver customer trainings. Travel may be required to support key accounts and events.

Qualificações

• Solid technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Engineering curiosity and results orientation.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Knowledge of the assigned segment and industry in EMEA.
• 5+ years in Offering, Engineering, Pre-Sales or Product Marketing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English and local language.
• Proficiency in MS Office; CAD a plus.
• Experience with data centre products/installation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide complex presales technical support by reviewing RFx and identifying customer requirements.
• Coordinate with factory engineering for technical requests.
• Design and deliver innovative solutions and customize options when needed.
• Manage relationships among sales, engineering and other stakeholders.
• Create and deliver product and application presentations for customers and consultants.
