Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer to provide presales technical support, craft proposals, and drive customized applications for datacentre products. You will engage with sales, engineering, and customers to deliver technically robust, price-competitive solutions.

You will work within a large team of Application Engineers and Technical Sales Experts, travel occasionally, and continually develop skills across Vertiv’s product lines and markets, aligning with regional growth

Qualifications

• Solid technical background with degree in engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex presales technical support by reviewing RFx and requirements.
• Coordinate with factory engineering for technical requests.
• Design and deliver innovative solutions to gain competitive advantage.
• Evaluate non-standard requests and propose configurable options.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Sales and Engineering.
• Create and deliver product and application presentations for customers.
• Provide internal and external trainings on Vertiv products and processes.
• Manage in-country activities related to application engineering tasks.
• Anticipate market trends as an industry expert.
• Ensure compliance with company code of conduct and trade compliance.
• Collect and act on voice of the customer feedback.
• Provide feedback to lines of business to improve offering.
• Attend and lead events with external customers.
• Develop expertise across multiple Vertiv products and lines of business.
