Zusammenfassung

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Engineer to provide deep technical presales support across multiple lines of business and interfaces with local and regional customers. You will help build proposals, quotes and tenders, and enable competitive applications when standard products don’t fit.

You will travel occasionally while expanding your expertise across Vertiv products and markets. You will join a large team of Application Engineers and Technical Sales Experts, with clear career paths

Qualifikationen

• Solid technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Engineering curiosity and desire to learn daily.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Knowledge of the EMEA segment/industry.
• Strong commercial experience to understand market trends.
• Min 5 years in Offering, Engineering, Pre-Sales or Product Marketing.
• Fluent in English; another European language preferred.
• CAD proficiency is an advantage; strong IT skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience with products and installation, especially for Datacentre or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Provide complex presales technical support by reviewing RFx and identifying customer requirements/specifications.
• Coordinate with factory engineering departments for specific technical requests.
• Design and deliver innovative solutions, challenging current standards to gain competitive advantage.
• Evaluate non-standard requests and propose customizable options (Configure to Order).
• Manage relationships among Sales, Engineering and other Vertiv teams.
• Create and present product and application demonstrations for customers and consultants.
• Provide internal training and external trainings for customers.
• Lead In-country activities related to Application Engineering tasks.
