Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Principal Pricing Analyst to join the Motor Pricing Optimisation and R&D Team in a hybrid London role. You will lead price optimisation projects using ML and pricing knowledge, communicating results to stakeholders and mentoring colleagues to uplift the team.

You will collaborate across pricing, contribute to Allianz’s pricing strategy, and help shape future career opportunities within Allianz UK and globally.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance pricing creating and using predictive models in Python or industry tools.
• Strong data pipeline and analysis skills with Databricks, SQL and PySpark.
• Ability to review and sign off data pipelines, models and analyses.
• Deep knowledge of price optimisation and UK regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead major pricing projects and coordinate technical teams across pricing.
• Advise and upskill other teams; provide training and mentoring.
• Develop and implement price optimisation across motor brands.
• Communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders.
