Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Pricing lead who will mentor the pricing function across a large insurance portfolio. You will shape pricing models, methods and mindset to drive innovation and commercial impact while collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver robust technical deliveries and scalable insights.

The role is hybrid and focuses on modelling excellence, stakeholder engagement, and developing junior team members, with a strong emphasis on back-testing, data preparation, and model

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of GLMs.
• Knowledge of GBMs (machine learning techniques).
• Experience with large data sources.
• Advanced Excel, Python, SQL, Databricks or similar coding languages.
• Experience of WTW's Radar and Emblem.
• Good understanding of technical pricing elements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, enhancement and review of pricing models, including modelling plans, data preparation, model creation, and credibility overlays.
• Back-test and analyse model impact and propose pricing adjustments.
• Ensure projects align with business objectives and communicate technical deliveries to stakeholders to drive adoption.
• Drive pricing innovation and incorporate new data sources to generate insights.
• Share knowledge, skills, and best practices within the team.
