About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Partner Success Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure the success of our partners in implementing Contentful. They will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive partner satisfaction, customer satisfaction and retention, and revenue growth.

This role will report into the Customer Insights and Adoption team and is not a people management role.

What to expect?

Partner Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with the Contentful implementation leads in our agency/SI partner ecosystem
  • Serve as the main point of contact for agency/SI partner implementation teams to understand their technical business objectives, challenges, and opportunities
  • Run Technical Partner Advisory Board targeting CTOs and Contentful Implementation Practice Leads
  • Strengthen connections between our partner implementation teams and Contentful CS and Professional Services teams

Strategic Planning

  • Shape Partner Success: Develop and execute strategic plans to empower our agency and SI partners with the tools and expertise they need to deliver exceptional Contentful implementations for their clients. This will fuel partner growth and success, driving towards Contenful's overall business objectives
  • Drive Mutual Growth: Collaborate closely with internal teams (Prod Dev, CX, Infrastructure/Engineering) to identify opportunities for enhancing our partner implementation capabilities. Prioritize initiatives that create significant value for both Contenful and our partners

Onboarding, Certification and Enablement

  • Oversee the technical onboarding process for new agency/SI implementation partners, providing them with the necessary training, resources, and support to effectively implement Contentful
  • Implement processes and programs to drive visibility and higher retention rates with Managed Services Partners
  • Lead the strategic development and delivery of agency/SI implementation partner curriculum and training through virtual, in-person and e-learning programs, working closely with Learning Services organization
  • Work across GTM and CX orgs (Learning Services & PS), to deliver partner enablement programs, including training sessions, workshops, and certification programs
    • Implementation Training and Certifications for Delivery Teams
    • Demo Training and Badging for Business Teams Advocacy and Support
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, offering guidance and best practices to help them achieve their business goals for their implementation team
  • Advocate for partners internally, representing their interests and providing feedback to product development and professional services teams
  • Ensure Partners have all necessary Training and Development Environments
  • Provide implementation partner voice into Product Roadmap process

Partner campaign activation

  • In collaboration with partner program manager, develop campaigns to promote the implementation partner programs to partners

Product launch coordination

  • Ensure new product release enablement launches are planned with all internal cross-functional parties and delivered to all external partner segments with clear deliverables, cadences and strategy for ongoing engagement for implementation topics
  • Take full ownership of communication cadence to partners on implementation topics with a partner segmented lens.
  • Identify gaps in partner facing collateral and solves for these
What you need to be successful?
  • Minimum 5+ years proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Partner Manager, preferably in a customer and/or partner-facing role
  • 3 - 5 years experience working with Contentful or other API-first composable content systems
  • Understanding of major commerce and marketing technology platforms
  • Proven experience with current web technologies (React or other JavaScript frameworks, REST and GraphQL APIs, CDNs, etc.)
  • Experience working with content personalization, experimentation and analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies and methodologies
  • Proficiency in building demos or presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences, and the ability to adjust depending on audience
  • Proven team player
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex plans
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving partner success and revenue growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences (CS) or related field preferred
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, and events
  • Authorization to work in the United States
