Job summary

Youngs Consultancy seeks a Senior Technical Manager to lead two new residential developments from inception to completion. You will coordinate architectural, engineering and design activities, ensuring designs are fully coordinated, compliant, and delivered on schedule.

The role covers pre- and post-contract stages, from feasibility through handover, with a focus on cost control and value engineering across Land, Planning, Construction and Sales teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of residential design, engineering, and construction.
• Ability to lead consultants and internal teams to achieve results.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and coordination across departments.
• Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review feasibility information and technical reports.
• Coordinate architectural, engineering and services input for Land & Planning.
• Develop and maintain design programmes and drawings.
• Tender, appoint and manage consultants; monitor costs.
