Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee the technical delivery of two residential developments in the United Kingdom. You will coordinate external consultants, manage design coordination, and ensure compliance with Building Regulations and planning requirements throughout the construction lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and a thorough understanding of NHBC and warranty standards, with proven ability to handle multiple projects

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Manager or Senior Technical Coordinator in residential construction.
• Experience managing multiple residential projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of Building Regulations, planning, and NHBC/warranty standards.
• Proficient in coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical delivery of two residential projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Lead external consultants and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Ensure technical information is produced and issued to programme.
• Oversee planning conditions discharge and Building Regulations approvals.
• Review drawings for buildability and compliance; resolve design clashes.
• Support site teams with technical guidance through construction.
• Attend design meetings and monitor consultant performance and budgets.
• Assist with handover and as-built information.
