Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead environmental planning and assessment for major water infrastructure projects in the UK.

You will direct multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality environmental input across the project lifecycle, including recruitment, bidding, and delivery oversight. You will build strong client and regulator relationships, drive business development, and promote sustainable design and innovation across programmes aligned with Net Zero

Qualifications

• Experience delivering environmental assessments for major water schemes.
• Familiarity with Habitats Regulations Assessments and WFD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong report writing.
• Proven people management and team development.
• Understanding of water sector market challenges and growth opportunities.
• Confident with clients, regulators and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental teams and inputs to project designs.
• Direct recruitment, bidding, and project delivery activities.
• Manage multi-disciplinary input across water infrastructure projects.
