Job summary

Places for People in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead design coordination across large residential developments and major infrastructure projects, not solely housing delivery.

You will manage drawings, specifications, planning processes, Building Control, utilities, highways, and environmental considerations, working with Development, Commercial, Build, Sales and Asset teams to deliver compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in housebuilding and infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate external consultants and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Experience managing drawings, specifications and technical information through the development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM and relevant construction standards.
• Experience progressing statutory approvals such as Building Control and planning conditions.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design coordination across complex residential developments and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate external consultants and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Manage drawings, specifications and technical information through development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM and construction standards.
• Progress planning, Building Control and other statutory approvals as required.
• Collaborate with Development, Commercial, Build, Sales and Asset teams to deliver practical solutions.
