Job summary

Places Development is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to drive complex residential and infrastructure projects, including Gilston Park Estate in East Hertfordshire. You will oversee design coordination, technical drawings and specifications, and guide these through planning, Building Control and other statutory approvals.

You will also collaborate with Development, Commercial, Build, Sales and Asset teams to provide technical expertise, challenge where needed and deliver compliant,

Qualifications

• Strong experience in housebuilding and infrastructure delivery.
• Experience with complex residential developments and major infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating external consultants and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Experience managing drawings, specifications and technical information through development lifecycles.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM regulations and construction standards.
• Experience progressing statutory and technical approvals (Building Control, planning conditions, Section 38/104).
• Understanding of utilities, highways, geotechnical and environmental planning needs.
• Ability to work across teams, manage priorities and build stakeholder relationships.
