• GCSEs in Numeracy and Literacy (grades 9–4/A–C) or equivalent or higher.
• NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for classes and deliver learning activities with planning, preparation, and assessment.
• Assess student needs and apply specialist skills to support learning.
• Build positive relationships and model appropriate conduct for pupils.
• Encourage cooperative work and engagement in activities.
• Assist in development and implementation of individual plans and mentoring.
• Record progress and provide feedback and evidence of attainment.
• Implement learning activities, adjusting to student responses and needs.
