Job summary

Camberwell Park Specialist School in Manchester is recruiting Teaching Assistant Level 1 SEN on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is 35 hours per week, term time plus 5 INSET days, with a starting salary of £22,004 and a full-time equivalent salary of £25,583 (Grade 3).

You will support teaching and learning across the school, assisting with pupils, managing resources, and working under supervision of the class teacher and senior leaders.

Qualifications

  • Numeracy and literacy skills required at level equivalent to NQF Level 2.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning across the school.
  • Provide general support in management of pupils and resources.
  • Work under supervision of the class teacher, department lead and senior leadership team.
  • Converse at ease and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
