Job summary

Innovate Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Principal/Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer for Bristol. The role involves hands-on testing and qualification across UK, Poland, and the USA, supporting a major GBAD programme.

Hybrid work arrangement, with 3–5 days on-site, and BPSS clearance requirements. You will plan trials, work with design teams to collect data, and deliver detailed analysis of system behaviour across interfaces.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience communicating with engineering and management stakeholders.
• Experience working in a large, multi-site team.
• Experience with the V&V lifecycle, requirements management, and defect reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan trials with stakeholders to demonstrate integration and gather evidence for qualification.
• Coordinate with systems engineering to ensure data is captured and issues are investigated.
• Deliver in-depth analysis and reporting on system behavior across interfaces.
• Conduct and support trials across lab rigs, System of Systems integration, acceptance, and firing trials.
• Support risk assessments and maintain hardware/software assets and configuration control.
