Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Lead Engineer to guide a team of system integrators and testers. You will develop test plans, oversee execution, analyse results and report on quality metrics, ensuring successful system modifications.

A key part of this role will be mentoring/coaching others, and influencing the implementation of Systems Engineering. Hybrid working is preferred with on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing of communications and networking equipment, military domain experience advantageous.
• Strong understanding of system testing methodologies and tools.
• Leadership of multi-faceted Test and Acceptance projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with customers to accept system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing team, provide guidance and support.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies; supervise execution and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, design and product teams to create efficient test plans.
• Lead test programme execution, report progress, manage issues and risks.
• Monitor and optimise testing processes and define relevant metrics.
