Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems UK is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Lead Engineer to guide a testing team, develop robust test plans, and deliver evidence for system acceptance. The role combines leadership with hands-on integration and testing, focusing on communications and networking gear within a defence context.

You will mentor staff, manage work packages, liaise with customers, and drive quality improvements across the programme, while aligning with project milestones.

Qualifications

• Background in testing of communications and networking equipment.
• Experience in military domain is advantageous.
• Understanding of system testing methodologies and tools.
• Proven leadership of multi-project test/acceptance efforts.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience coordinating with customers and multiple teams.
• Familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and maintain test plans and strategies; oversee execution.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, design and supplier teams.
