Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd is recruiting a System of System Engineer in Bristol to shape the Land Ceptor System of Systems. You will support or lead multi-workstream activities with customers and industry partners to evolve system requirements and architecture.

Role involves defining integration needs, performing design reviews, and coordinating across teams. A mixture of on-site and flexible hybrid work is expected with BPSS security checks and UK citizenship requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and integrating complex systems, preferably in defence.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to initiate and drive trade studies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
• Experience developing design requirements and verification documentation, and an ability to agree these collaboratively with stakeholder groups including System Design Authorities and Government organisations.
• Project engineering knowledge to design and deliver work packages.

Responsibilities

• Define System of Systems requirements including evolution paths for future development.
• Define System of Systems architecture and use-cases to support development and evolution of system requirements.
• Define System of Systems integration requirements and verification plans.
• Conduct design and technical reviews internally and with the customer.
• Coordinate responses to and from the customer and industrial partners within a multidisciplinary team.
