Job summary

Leidos UK & EUROPE is seeking a System Integration & Test Engineer for a flagship UK programme. The role spans designing, developing and maintaining test scripts and reports, using both manual and automated testing within a hybrid Waterfall/Agile process to support critical national security missions.

Successful candidates should have experience with functional/integration testing, systems integration, and test design, with familiarity in Jira/Bitbucket.

Qualifications

• Experience with functional and integration testing.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/delivery tools.
• Ability to create test designs and test cases from requirements and design documents.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to detailed test plans.
• Prepare and summarize test drafts and final test summaries.
• Produce test completion reports.
• Develop test designs and test cases.
• Create test data and select tooling.
• Maintain requirements traceability for test attributes.
• Perform test execution, analyze results and raise defects.
• Update defect status and report progress to Test Leads.
• Ensure quality checks on test materials produced by the team.
