Job summary

Langley James HR & IT Recruitment is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to own infrastructure across the group. The role involves second/third line escalations, network builds at new sites, and managing Windows endpoints with SCCM/Intune.

The team supports ~270 users from the head office in the City of London and requires travel to sites with a car allowance included. Five days on site. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must own infrastructure and not escalate issues.
• Strong Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with endpoint management at scale (Intune/SCCM).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to visit sites.

Responsibilities

• Second and third line escalations across group offices.
• Build and segment networks at new sites.
• Manage Windows endpoints: imaging, deployment, patching, compliance.
• Server builds, backup and recovery.
• Onboard acquired companies onto the estate.
• Take projects from scoping to handover; coordinate suppliers.
