Job summary

Langley James HR & IT Recruitment is assisting a professional services firm in Croydon with a 2nd/3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer role. You will support three offices across South East London, Kent and Surrey, handling about 100 users with a small IT team backing you up.

You will focus on infrastructure, drive office tech refits and migrations, and provide reliable fixes rather than escalating issues. The role is mainly office-based with travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Solid 2nd and 3rd line Wintel support experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Microsoft 365 security stack.
• Exposure to migrations, office moves or infrastructure projects.
• Full UK driving licence or ability to travel between Croydon, Kent and Surrey offices.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day 2nd and 3rd line support with emphasis on infrastructure.
• Lead role in office tech refits, tenant migrations and site integrations.
• Provide reliable, senior-level engineering support across three offices.
• Avoid escalation by delivering proper, lasting fixes.
