Job summary

Anduril Industries in London seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead capability development on Thunder, applying pragmatic systems engineering to ensure end-user needs are met in challenging environments. You will shape the Mission System and payloads with rapid iteration, working in a lean, high-ownership culture.

You will own functional decomposition, architecture diagrams, and key artefacts, coordinating across teams to deliver production-ready designs within months.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems engineering experience in defence or aerospace.
• Experience with safety-critical hardware and software in crewed rotorcraft, EVTOL, UAS, or weapon systems.
• Experience eliciting requirements with customers/end-users and delivering artefacts.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain system designs and associated documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute Agile Systems Engineering per the SEMP for Thunder mission system and payloads.
• Support design teams in developing Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
• Contribute to SDRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, SRBs for Systems Engineering discipline.
