Job summary

Anduril Industries in London seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead capability development on Thunder. You will apply pragmatic systems engineering to ensure end-user needs are met in challenging operational environments and operate at velocity to fly new designs within months.

You will own architecture artefacts, support design reviews, and collaborate across teams to advance mission systems, sensors and autonomy within a lean, high-ownership culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems engineering experience in defence or aerospace.
• Experience with safety-critical hardware and software in crewed aircraft/rotorcraft/UAS/weapon systems.
• Proven ability to solicit requirements from customers/end-users and collaborate with design teams.
• Experience creating engineering artefacts with verification/validation plans.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active UKSV security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute Agile Systems Engineering per the SEMP for Thunder Mission System and Payloads.
• Support TPM evolution throughout the design process.
• Contribute to System Design Reviews (SDR) and governance like PDR, CDR, TRR, SRB.
• Own Functional Decomposition, SBS, PBS, and Architecture diagrams.
• Develop System Description Documents (SDDs) and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Champion the use of the TEMP to mature Mission Systems and Payloads.
• Shape HWIL/HITL hardware integration environments and surrogate testing.
