Job summary

Anduril Industries in London seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead capability development on Thunder. You will apply pragmatic systems engineering to ensure end-user needs are met in challenging environments and help the mission system evolve with rapid design cycles.

You will work in a lean, high-ownership culture, shaping the product and contributing to SDRs, PDRs and CDRs, delivering artefacts such as SDDs and ICDs to enable robust integration and testing across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Systems Engineering with safety-critical hardware/software in Defence/Aerospace.
• Experience producing requirements with end-users and customers.
• Experience with design governance reviews (PDR/CDR/TRR/SRB).
• Ability to create and manage SDDs and ICDs.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply agile SE approach per SEMP for Thunder mission system development.
• Support TPM evolution and design reviews across the program.
• Own decomposition, SBS, PBS, and architecture diagrams.
• Develop SDDs, ICDs, and other SE artefacts.
• Champion TEMP usage for mission system maturation.
• Shape hardware-in-the-loop and lab environments; assist testing.
• Coordinate change management and configuration control.
• Assist safety and airworthiness activities; support flight tests.
