Job summary

Anduril Industries in London is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to join the Maneuver Dominance team and lead cross-cutting software efforts from concept to deployment. You will collaborate with vehicle hardware teams, operators, and other engineers to ensure Thunder and related systems work together to deliver impactful outcomes.

You will mentor peers, drive scalable software solutions, and travel up to 20% to test and deploy capabilities in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• 5+ years of professional experience in C++ or Rust.
• Experience building software with significant data processing and analysis.
• Track record of leading technical projects and delivering production systems.
• Ability to navigate complex systems and established code bases.
• Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active UKSV Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own feature development and cross-cutting software efforts from concept to deployment.
• Write code to improve products and scale capabilities for more customers.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality.
• Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring.
• Triage issues and coordinate next steps with hardware teams and operators.
• Write and maintain core libraries and services for robot collaboration.
• Mentor engineers and raise the engineering bar through code reviews.
