Altea Energy seeks a SURF Materials, Welding & NDT Specialist Engineer to lead material selection, corrosion management, welding and advanced NDT activities for the Venus ultra-deepwater development offshore Namibia. The role oversees welding and NDT qualification, and reviews documentation across EPCI phases.

The candidate will liaise with SPS, FPSO and subcontractors, ensuring technical integrity and compliance with international standards while supporting offshore SURF execution.

Formación

• Master's degree in engineering with offshore experience.
• ESSA or IWE certification is required.
• Minimum 10 years in major offshore SURF/deepwater projects.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee materials selection, corrosion control and welding activities for SURF package.
• Review and approve material specs, welding and NDT documentation (WPS/WPQR/PQT).
• Manage NDT/NDE methodologies and qualification trials.
• Coordinate with SURF Contractor, SPS and FPSO teams.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and safety requirements.
